Paula Goossens

Paula Goossens studied organisational psychology. For eighteen years, she worked as a trainer and consultant at Avio-Fokker, ABN and PTT. Her areas of expertise are job coaching and training in assertiveness, networking and negotiation. During these trainings, she uses video because of its proven effectiveness. The Solution Focused approach is one of the core notions in her working methods. An optimistic point of view and humour are also part of her “toolkit”. Important questions are: ‘In which situation can you already do what you want to learn? How do you do that?’
Together with the participants, she looks for (hidden) qualities and capacities and how to put these to better use.
She specialises in working with people who are uncertain and insecure. However, she also gets good results with people who are too assertive.
Paula is quite the writer and has added her share to the professional literature. Recently, she contributed a chapter on The Solution Focused approach in a book about Mediation Approaches.
