Assertiveness

Saying what you think, who doesn’t dream about it? More often than not, you do not say what you think, for fear of hurting someone or because you want to avoid a conflict. This can make you come across as someone who often says yes when you actually mean no. ‘Being assertive' means; to stand up for yourself without hurting other people. But it means even more. Someone who is assertive, has confidence and radiates this towards others. Assertiveness is a form of behaviour which everyone can learn.
