Assertiveness training for managers

You want to manage your team with confidence and spot points of interest in time. You want to be able to call your employees to account and not avoid conflicts or letting them escalate. As the manager you need to be able to force decisions and draw boundaries; you want to be very clear about what you want. By being assertive, you as a manager will provide clarity and create an atmosphere of trust.
Nevertheless, assertive behaviour is not always easy. After all, you do not want to come across as authoritarian and you want to give your employees their space and their own responsibility. How do you find a healthy balance between drawing boundaries and tolerance, between taking corrective measures and motivating?
