The peace and quiet of your entrance hall, reception area or restaurant can be ruthlessly disturbed when an unexpected camera crew shows up and your organisation turns out to be the subject of a consumer rights program in which a TV-host aims to expose alleged wrongdoings in the service to your customers.
The training Media ambush teaches your organisation to anticipate such an event, enabling your staff to deliver a positive image of your organisation in front of the camera and the TV-audience.

For who

This training is suited for organisations that are media and image sensitive, such as (local) authorities, insurance companies, hotel and catering industry and large companies.

The training

  • Verbal and non-verbal communication
  • Active listening and observing;
  • Placing yourself in the position of the journalist: what is the aim of the media ambush?
  • What is the aim of the organisation?
  • Different methods of asking questions
  • Being assertive in an acceptable manner;
  • Dealing with aggression: if aggression is used, the reporter is consciously trying to influence the employee.
  • Adequate referral and winding up the discussion.
